Whoa (plus spoilers)

This is some next level mind fuddery. Like the characters are so mentally ill but at the same time the author makes their circumstances and coping mechanisms so painfully understandable.
I was really conflicted about who to root for between Jaehyuk and Wonil. I know everyone has their favorites but mine ended up slightly in Wonil’s favor, who has always been patiently waiting for him for seven years, whose feelings for him never changed. A man of his words. Did he go about it correctly, no, but he tried his best in his first relationship, because Hyunjae seemed like a flight risk and couldnt be honest with him. Also, from the raws spoilers, as previous comments have mentioned, Jaehyuk is so wrong for trying to kill both himself and Hyunjae in front of Wonil, like some grand finale in following the footsteps of his mom. The author drew such a chillingly beautiful panel of Hyunjae who’s juxtaposed to Jaehyuk’s hanged mom, but with the rope cut. Im really glad Jaehyuk doesnt die and is instead sentenced to 10 years in jail. I hope he can find it in himself to heal and correct his ways especially since Hyunjae showed him death doesnt have to be the only way out. Which is ironic because Hyunjae seems he’ll be affected by Jaehyuk until he dies and is heavily traumatized even though he ends up with Wonil, who now explicitly shows him the warmth he’d been looking for so long. I have hope though that since the author showed Hyunjae saving Jaehyuk, death wont be the end to Hyunjae’s own suffering and eventually he’ll heal with Wonil. But thats just my wish
