I think the emperor killed the tribe because he knew the chief's son had actually raped the uke. And I'm glad he killed the chief too. He exiled the uke's mom just because she fell in love with a human. And even after he saw his son rape the uke, he still blamed it on the uke. You bewitched him, you led him astray.
