Bro, considering the sister’s reaction about killing her mother, I feel like maybe she’s telling the truth? Like, she only turned her into a bird and didn’t push her cage. Considering how depressed the stepmother was before she turned into a bird and the fact she literally felt trapped in another country, I feel like being trapped in a bird cage would’ve probably been the worse thing for her. Why do I feel like she actually pushed the bird cage herself, wanting to end everything, instead of being a bird stuck in a cage forever. Thinking about that, it’s so fucking disturbing and sad

Honestly, Emilia should’ve just released her into her homeland and made a deal for her mother to leave by herself or something

maybe, but as you've noticed emilia is NOT a good person by any means, she did more damage and had absolutely no positive impact on anyone.

No, I’m just saying, she was literally willing to admit to her sorcery rather than killing her mother, which makes me think she was telling the truth. She stayed silent until being accused of killing her mother, so I feel like she was being truthful there, which makes the stepmother’s death feel like really messed up in hindsight I feel like

yea tbh that was hella tragic, even more so if you think about the fact that the step mother was fully aware, a whole human consciousness in the body of a bird trapped in a cage for who knows how many years, and then falling to her death without ever getting the chance to fly. and all this done by her daughter who just watched her wither. i agree that this is beyond messed up.

I just meant, I felt like the bird cage falling wasn’t an accident or caused by the sister. I felt like maybe the stepmother pushed against the cage to make it fall instead, feeling like it would be better to be dead than stay in a cage, considering she was already depressed and stuff

Yeah but it also makes it so sad istg, and now I’m imagining a scene of her falling and in her imagination, she’s feeling the wind as if she was flying and escaping before she died
