It's been 9 years since the land turned to zombies. However, we don't know how old Jihoon was when we saw him as a child... and we don't know how long Gitae and Jihoon were together for before the 'I've been kidnapped" situation.
I'm going to assume that he's likely 19 (with a 10 year age gap).
Actually it has only been 9 years since zombies first showed up. So depending on how young ml was when his parents locked him up, he could be a minor still. But it’s a lawless post apocalypse world so who cares
Thank you! That's what I was wondering. It is clear his parents were Doomsday preppers and he clearly lived there as a child for an undisclosed amount of time plugsanother 9 years. He looks like 5-8 in his flashbacks. So like 5-8 + 9 years since zombie out break, dude is not legal. Even with him being like older 10-13 when the zombie outbreak starts, dude is 19-21. Idk and then jihoon mentioned puberty at one point as an explanation for his attraction towards guitar then that would make him some sort of teen 16-18/19 maybe. Idk but clearly there's a large age gap here.
They haven't been together nine years, the zombie apocalypse started nine years ago and it is mentioned when his friend try to kill him that gitae had survived those 9 years. So they've really only been around each other for a couple of months to a year- since gitae mentioned at the beginning that he wasn't to sure on time but based off the meals jihoon provided he had been there a month or two already. So he had lost his memory of the past 9 years for 2 months or so. We don't know how long hey we're together from when jihoon saved him and when gitae lost his memory but we do know that gitae was mentally distraught at the betrayal and death of his friends, tried to kill himself before the mental break- it doesn't sound like it happened over night but it definitely doesn't sound like it happened over a long span of time. So I think my question is pretty valid.
