He's trying to lay low, kind of defeats the purpose. The jaw dropping event can happen later, after he's been registered and "fooled the system". If Lee SaYoung takes credit then it will be less suspicious.

I didnt like that .. i wanted MC to solo the boss and just as the poison dude comes to save the day, MC alr badassed his way to victory, making his jaw drop to the floor in awe of the MCs might.
