I assume the sleeping around bit is so she would do it until she was exhausted and then be able to fall asleep as she would be out of energy. Though exercising might be a better alternative, but noble ladies in these times wouldn’t normally exercise lol

if you find a cure for sleep deprivation (had it once couldn’t sleep for nearly 4 days thought i was gonna die) you probably assume that’s what’s causing ur headache anyways so gotta do what you gotta do. also at that point i was having micro sleeps i would be walking on the street and i would sleep for like a few seconds (it would go black) and open my eyes again whilst walking. (so dangerous). there are so many other symptoms other than fainting and headaches. I remember on my third day i was literally crying talking to my doctor and he just told me to go get a sleeping aid from the pharmacy like i hadn’t already tried that. literally had to get on my knees and beg to get prescription sleeping pills. also literal magic is involved that’s why our ml is a lifeline for her so unrealistic? yeah makes no sense ? yeah that’s why it’s fiction my love

when it makes a migraine worse, no. but she doesn't have a normal migraine, it's either magic or some fictional slow-acting poison, so it might not respond to the same stimuli as a regular migraine would. we already know her headache wouldn't respond to the same REMEDIES a regular one would, at least. so why would it matter whether she has sex or not? it's a bit silly as a premise, sure, but not enough to get so twisted up about it.

plus, a lack of sleep genuinely can be life-threatening. so painful or not, I'd probably also prioritize whatever makes me pass out and sleep for a bit. in a situation where nothing else has worked anyway, sex isn't that terrible of an idea - it releases endorphins, which can alleviate even the pain of giving birth.

and on top of all that, she clearly has some trauma or insecurity regarding the prince's rejection of her. she was raised to believe her reason for being born was to be desired by a man, and she seemingly failed. seeking out other men to prove to herself that she's not the cause of his rejection is a pretty predictable psychological response.
