That doesn't justify her trying kill innocent people. That's an evil person through and through. It's all the choices that she made . And the choices that she's making right now because of anl backstabbing ex show she's an evil bitch who deserves to pay for her sin for killing innocent lives.

    She’s evil…but I don’t think she’s a bitch after having your heart betrayed and then your people executed en masse, I think that could change someone on a fundamental level.

    She turned back time because of that guilt, and knowing her wrongs. That’s why I think she’s one of the few villains I give a little grace. if she were the main character, our perception would be much more positive.

    No, it doesn’t justify it, but I think the point here is just so Regina realizes she had a second chance at basically having another go at life while the girl who wanted revenge for being betrayed and for having her entire race eradicated didn’t. I think the forgivennes they’re asking for and Anita’s punishment are two separate things. I personally haven’t been able to hate her since I learned about the emperor at the end of the first season, but that’s a different matter.
