He just called his secretary, not record him (also even tho you can see it being used a lot in stories, recording someone's voice during a private conversation without their consent is illegal so it wouldn't be very wise to try and use that in court). But I also miss knowing what happened to him.
They handed it over to the police it just got dropped as not enough evidence ...i think its supposed to show that since he is rich and all they didnt rly expect him to get that big of a sentence while also removing yejun from the story
