If you think about it the setting itself doesn't make sense. You can't tell me a race of powerful beings knew that Anita was being used and warned her, somehow didn't have the power to stop her. It doesn't make sense that the mages didn't take it upon themselves to stop Anita from fucking up. It doesn't make sense that they were so easily wiped out just from 1 person getting conned. It doesn't make sense that they didn't have rules and guidelines that would prevent shit like what happened with Anita. I mean her whole story of being used by a person with bad intentions is as old as time. You can't tell me she was the first. They really assassinated her background/character once they started going the "my love betrayed me" route.
While I understand the sentiment of "oh she was such a pure, innocent person before someone came and ruined her"
I don't actually agree with it
Horrible things happen to people all the time, it sucks, it's incredibly unfair, but it's NOT normal to become a psychopathic lunatic who brainwashes others
If Anitta were raised properly, she'd know not to foolishly trust a hot dude, if she were a reasonable person, she wouldn't go through her plan of making people who have never done anything bad to her suffer and die
I like my female rage stories, but this take on Anitta's backstory by her family completely failed to entice me in that aspect
