I don't even hate the ML but even I agree that this story would've been better as a yuri between the FL and her maid. Even Adaline, who's obsessed with the ML, she seemed to have a similar connection with her old mage. And the prince with Hessian (FL's younger brother) too with his "I knew I liked you."
