She's just angry right now. She knows full well it's not her sisters fault. But her sister was raised with love by her actual mother while she was beaten by the woman she was swapped out for. She can't help but to feel deeply jealous of Hillaine. Plus she's literally cut off the family. If she keeps up with her sister her mother will leverage that to pretend they still have a relationship.
But do you not find Halaine strange? Helga was never all that nice to her but for some reason she's losing her mind over someone she really only got to know for a couple of months.
