She's just angry right now. She knows full well it's not her sisters fault. But her sister was raised with love by her actual mother while she was beaten by the woman she was swapped out for. She can't help but to feel deeply jealous of Hillaine. Plus she's literally cut off the family. And, Halaine is siding to Helga, more on like, she's take a pitty to Helga, and understanding her situation very well. So Halaine of course share the burdens, while Helga's mother, raised her well, with love. And Halaine real mother was treating Helga like that since she were kid.
But, have you ever considered? That what is HELGA is the real daughter of the Duchess? And, Halaine is the real daughter of that mysterious maid?
