i agree - and considering how much of BL really DOES have unnecessary rape, and stupid toxic relationships, i think it’s important to differentiate between purposeful story choices and just being tiktok brainrot mentality all the time
ok i’m gonna get hate for this but, yes the world building is amazing and so is the plot, and even though the rape is just horrible, it makes sense for this story. there’s no way those five psychos could have a “normal” way of thinking with the way they are and their circumstances. as much as my heart breaks for yugeon, these characters do make sense in the context of what profundis is :( in another universe yugeon is happy with his twin brother away from these fucks
