Taeha is actually in love with Hawon. He'd never actually hurt him even after getting his hands on the WikiLeaks.
Also I can't wait for Taeha to save Hawon when he gets shot on the boat. Taeha will jump in the water then he'll let out a gut wrenching scream when he thinks Hawon is dead. I know I'm gonna be so emotional when we get to see it in the manhwa.
