It's normal for Manhua and Manhwa to be this short. I think the reason is that it's all in color. It would be more expensive when pages are long.
*Oh and colored pages takes lots of time and work than black and white pages.

It's a prologue. All manhua/manhwa prologues are like this.
But usually things that are more confusing have about at least the first little bit of the story for explanation. Like it's recommended not to publish until about 10 pages, but for this panel style it would be more like 20-30... So yeahhhhh idk seems uh like uh idk bye
Is this... for real? 9 pages, really? The author should give the first chapter more attention so people will look forward to the next. It's also a marketing strategy?
