Well, I don't think it matters to him since Tora's dead and loved him. He was more concerned about the force part.
Kage is dead anyway, so there's no point in throwing tantrum.
And even if kage's still alive, if kage happy, i don't think he's mind either.
I live in a very traditional and homophobic environment, and Istg these old people would rather their kids died in the most tragic and f-up way than live a happy long life as a gay person. Some even end their relative's live just because they're gay (sorry for the bad English)
Tbh considerting how traditional he looked, I'm pleasantly surprised seeing Tora's father isn't throwing tantrum knowing his son has a male partner
