You guys are just biased because the male lead is hot. The characters are written well but oh no you just want the female lead to act like other female leads who would easily switch up to fawn over the male lead after the male lead flirts with her. At least in here the characters have depth. The author understands grief and it’s really seriously not easy to move on that was why she was in denial. Remember, they even had an engagement ring. You guys dont seem to understand how relationship works. You just think as long as there is a hot guy, the fl should just easily accept him. That’s nooottt how it worrkss!! If anything, the comments are annoying. Go read some other shoujo love stories with female leads who would easily just give because look “hot guy alert”. No, I simply dislike people who go back to back for examples, tsunderes or so what others call it (she aint it but thats an example) . If you go back, she shows interests in him then said no. She then is shocked when she thought he had a gf but proceeds to show she had no interests when it did bother her a bit. For me, i cant stand that. Bias or not, I can't stand that. No, I didn't say I want her to fawn over him. I said it's okay to be sad but once in a while, look up and try to have fun. You only live once. She deserves to go out and have fun, go have funny conversations with friends or walk outside perhaps to get new ideas for her story. All she does is look at that book that reminds her of her ex. Ain't nothing wrong with that but there are also many other inspirations. I also said it doesn't hurt to give people chances or go out and meet people. If she's willing to look at other guys by asking her friend to hook her up with dudes, it means she's willing to try, right? But why not give ml an opportunity if she so willing to give other dudes, which she haven't met yet, an opportunity? Not to mention, she asked her friend for a meet up after she met ml. You get where I'm confused?

I have never said they don't have character depth. I never said grief is something someone should get over it. It takes lots of time, and that is fine. Healing is a long process but you can't be in it for too long either, right?


BUT like I said before, she pisses me off bc she goes back in forth as in her decision to be with someone or not. I personally don't think someone who is in grief should hop into a relationship. I totally agree with you except for me hating women. My confusion is after she met ml, why is she willing to look for others by asking her male friend for a meet up? Everyone needs time to figure things out but that confuses me. She shows interests in him yet pushes, then gets shocked that he may have a gf ? Which she pretends to not be shocked. Here is my confusion if you can clarify for me then. She meets ml. We all know that she feels some type of attraction to him. But after meeting ml, she ask her friend to see if he got any male friends that she can meet with the intention of going out. Then when she finds out that ml may potentially have a gf, she was shocked and seem a bit hurt by it but proceeded to pretend that it didn't affect her. Why did she ask her friend for meet up with other dudes right after meeting ml? Then proceeds to go back and forth with him?

If a person is back and forth with a another person, given fl history, it make sense. She is afraid that the person will hurt her but wants to be with that person. That makes sense. That back and forth, I understand. But she attempts to push him away by trying to meet up with other dudes when those dudes may also treat her the same as him? She hasn't healed yet so was this her attempt to heal and run from ml or something? If you or I be in that situation , wouldn't you apply that reluctance for everyone , other than friends or family obviously. But why did she only apply to ml? And if the response is bc ml is an asshole, wouldn't she apply to anyone bc of her history? 'My ex was a piece of shit therefore everyone that I may see as a potential partner or everyone who sees me as a potential partner will hurt me.' This is why her friend didn't come out to her out of fear of ruining this relationship and bc she was hurt by a partner. I'm not saying it's right. His attitude is straightforward that I see it. I don't really like mind games sometimes l. For example, tsunderes. I absolutely despise them. Honestly, you captured everything right about the ML & FL. That is true the FL did invade his privacy which many ppl don’t really point it out. So basically 50/50 on the characters doing the most outrageous stuff. The ML is indeed a douche bag and somehow I believe he won’t change. If the characters were a bit more realistic it would’ve been better. Also no problem i tend to not argue with ppl bc we all have our own opinions and im very open minded what a person trying to say.
