Since it’s pretty obvious that this story is in reference to the Bible in some aspects I have a few nuanced thoughts about the plot because I actually really enjoy how it’s going;
As we see, the mcs are in reference to Adam and Eve. I think right now they are in their “garden of Eden” ie paradise. Their domesticity and bliss at least. If the story alludes to the Bible a bit more, Eve will consume a forbidden fruit. Which goes hand in hand with Adam referring to himself as a bad apple for Eve. Eve will indulge himself in the forbidden fruits of Adam and this will lead to the demise of their shared paradise. I think this may have already happened before, considering eves dream which was most likely a memory, and Adam losing his sight which directly connects him to his “paradise” which is Eve. The two seem to be in a cycle of suffering for one another, though they were quite literally created and put on earth for each other.
