It definitely is a coping mechanism he doesn't know how to heal or live a normal life and his probably afraid he'll have to face everything his done or even face the fact that he still carried hurt and pain from the rejection he always got. I definitely think him working for the guy is like a way for him to really feel like that's the life for him yk?
I mean, being a sex worker shouldn’t be something “abnormal” but in this situation where he’s using the job as an unhealthy coping mechanism, is abnormal. I mean the coping mechanism is abnormal. Sex work job is not the standard, and I personally don’t fully support it but I won’t dehumanize the workers and will not force them to quit.
If ML chose not to quit, I can only hope for him to find a partner that doesn’t care about him. And I’m saying doesn’t care about him, as in not realising or caring about his unhealthy coping mechanism.
MC should find someone else, but I also want them to be together. And I agree, he quit his job too easily and went to the brother. I really hope he’s not doing it because of MC or another deal.
I definitely think it's not because of MC or more like not fully because of him I think when he was corned and felt rejected once again he was like "I can do more" so he called the guy who was offering him more it definitely is an unhealthy coping mechanism and atp his really just trying to find a sort of distraction the less time to himself the better I'm emphasizing that this is his way of hiding from facing his battles or struggles in life.

If ML is in the sex work for being complimented and how “good he is”, then why doesn’t he stick to stripping only? He doesn’t have to do sex, and can still receive compliments from the watchers.
Or maybe he does enjoy sex in a way of coping, because his sister basically said he’s not normal, so he’s rebelling more by doing sex work.
I remember he said something about wanting to make clients feel better about themselves during sex. Is that maybe why he did sex work when he could’ve still received compliments with stripping? He wants others to relieve stress with him in a way.
Or I’m overthinking it, because ML left the sex work in the most recent episode (S3 Ch 1) without much thought or care. It doesn’t look like he treasures his job in a healthy way. It seems like a coping mechanism.
And why is ML going to work for the older brother of MC? I do not get it. What is his goal? Does he want to rebel against MC now like he did with his sister or maybe the loan shark brother just has a good deal regarding business?
Also I don’t blame MC for changing his mind. He didn’t have the same mindset in the first place, so I expected it. ML shut him off, they ended things. I do hope that MC communicates properly and so does ML, or MC doesn’t chase after him. Not a fan of that.
