Yup that stupid kloff is in love but his pride didn't allow him to accept it. And late turned to hate love ....u can see when aeroc was died in his arms....he was literally so dumb ...he abused his love
He didnt truly loved Raphiel. He only choose him because he looks like Aeroc. He is, and will always be, in love with Aeroc.
One of the reasons why he didnt pursue Aeroc is because its a taboo (though some alpha engaged in that). Also, when Raphiel died, he felt too guilty about it, and found way of blaming and abusing Aeroc for it.
So basically, he's just a scumbag.

i still dont understand Kloff's emotions in the first arc. does he really love Raphiel? or was he just trapped by the thought because he died tragically? He do?, seem to love Aeroc too only he's in denial. i remember reading the novel after i got cliffhanged in the first season. read the novel till the third arc,(i think) apparently the last arc is not good for my heart so i will dropped this to when it comes to that.
I just want to see Aerocs HE second life in color.
