Imo… her character development should be conveyed better. She lived her whole life as a People Pleaser (survival mode preparation for escape) because she believes everything are “thrown” to her by chance, so she lived as someone else, having someone else’s fiancee, things, birthdays & expected to be grateful for it.
She need to cut off that People Pleasing cycle!! And I don’t think her staying in Palace would cut off that pattern. Ever since she stayed, people around her had shown her they’re being genuine, but of course she will be conflicted since her effort all this time to get their approval are not for HERself but for HER survival.
I want Nassar & her to be together but they started on the wrong foot. Even “annuling engagement for Nassar’s sake” and then getting conflicted when Nassar is hurt is her People Pleasing mode.
