On the contrary! It seems more childish. Wouldnt someone who went through the process of loss in his teenage years be more repressed ? What if he went through the same (albeit false) loss in his 20s. Wouldn't he fall back on the familiar repression? Like I imagine he would be internally conflicted paranoid and anxious but in no way would he externally show it. It would be hard to admit how much losing he tian is affecting him to even himself!!!!
Not necessarily, time also has the ability to numb feelings. Imagine it as getting over an ex or the loss of someone (literally). At some point, even though you’ve suffered a lot because of it, you will get over it. That’s life and the ability forget and and let go is what keeps you going. So I’d like to think mo just kinda accepted things as they were, but since he tian is back (which he wasn’t expecting) he doesn’t know how to react or act. So he’s staying natural, but because of their past together he can’t seem to push he tian away either. I know that feeling because I still feel platonic affection towards my exes no matter how much they’ve hurt me emotionally. So give it some time. He will probably go back to his old habits once he gets comfortable around he tian again and we’ve just started to see them after their reunion so. There’s not much to comment on.
Lowkey dont like this chapter much. Like its cute but thats it it doesnt give me any deeper thought on their relationship or the characters. It might be because im an old reader but even mo's actions here (talking to himself out loud and being petty, showing weakness in a way) doesnt feel aligned with his character
