Kay usually i dont feel bad for the antagonist, especially if they're obtuse about the pain they cause, but I really pity persen. He should have more awareness and if he did care he would understand how he has been hurting her, but at the end he was extremely selfish. Thing is I kinda understand if he's been abused for so long by his father (the true villain) he clings to the one who brings him comfort. I just feel bad for him, like I hope he can actually move on and hopefully rebuild his friendship.
