They were sent by the Empress to be spies/take over the Duchy. They’re basically gold diggers who abuse their power. Example the daughter wants to be the center of attention, so she monopolizes her nanny and abuses the nanny’s daughter. She also stole Lulu’s hair broach but made the nanny’s daughter take the blame. When she first arrived she tried to basically take all of Lulu’s things under the guise of “sharing” as “sisters”, aka bullying/stealing.
The mother is planning on sneaking into the Duke’s room in a honeypot scheme to force him to take responsibility by marrying her.
