Seme is too persistent and never gives up on uke, acted like a creep around him (w/c some readers might look past due to his face card) and was not reflective of his actions and implications to the other boy's life, and then he kinda blackmails him to answer his feelings or lose him as a friend. Uke is more realistic in terms of his reflection and realization (considering he was straight) but too fickle and sometimes oblivious, it's an odd blend of being strong headed and a pushover which does not work. Meh for me, not much chemistry for me to continue reading the sides. The novel might be better and give more insight to the development of their relationship tho.
