There are bound to be something like that in every manhwa. They usually have stereotypical ideas of what the countries are. The most normal I've seen is the Return of the Disaster Class Hero. They aren't protrayed as poor but even then the Philippines is being attacked by monsters.
Koreans are known racists to everyone including their own race its not all but a grand majority (take this as you will)
Lol, we from Africa have been so generalized in their manhwas for some reason we always have the worst back stories. At least they call your country's name, but in our case it's the whole continent
Yeah a lot Koreans are racist towards south East Asians and generally towards Asians w darker skin tones I’m not sure why but it’s been like that for forever
