Why changing the format is so bad?
I like manga, black and white doesn't bother and all
But to be honest, the printing proportion of the pages doesn't work in cellphone screens
I have bad eyesight and the letters are tiny, so I always have to zoom in and pan the page around
Sure, it's a simple thing, but one thing webtoons get right is a better reading flow for today's technology
Now, do I think this new version should replace the official?
Nope
But if we argue the merits of better usability and reading, webtoon is far better suited for phone screens
I'm not discussing quality of art, or losing the "essence" (which is a bunch of bs in my opinion).
If you dislike the adaptation, then don't read it and go support the author, buy the physical copy, buy official merch or something
Discussing it only online, raging and spewing hate about it is useless and it's one of those problems that disappear as soon as you take a step back and get out of the internet
