Tbf Kyle’s got a point—Alfred fucked up. I mean, who’d want to deal with someone who caused a 10 year long misunderstanding? Sure, Alfred loved Julianne from the start, and he was just too busy to say anything, but come on. Was it really that hard to show any signs of what he felt when they were younger?
He knew Julianne was suffering yet he never did anything to reassure her. He should've communicated better or, I don’t know, sent a letter or two and stopped relaying infos through a 2nd party? I know he's doing better now but he's still not for me.
Honestly, If Kyle wasn’t part of Julianne's family and was a legit 2nd male lead, I’d probably root for him. But since he is, yeah, no thanks. But Id welcome any 2nd male lead, since I really want Alfred to regret his actions more. Sadly, we’re probably too late in the story for one to show up.
