To read the novel, find it on #2 in the list:

Not gonna lie but the art is not giving in comparison to the novel.

There are 50 chps in the raw sites and the scenes are really choppy and artstyle doesn't do any justice to the beautiful descriptions in the novel.
It deserves a better artist, also seeing some of my fav scenes being changed in the manhwa was pretty heart breaking.

I'll give you an example of how the novel describe ml from mc's perspective and then you can compare it yourself, if the art does justice to the comparison:

"His eyes shone more golden than before, his bleached hair with black roots, fair skin like white jade, neat eyebrows, his high nose bridge, and his fine jawline that moved every time he spoke, his protruding neckline, and bright red lips.
Even though I've been seeing this face for a long time, it still feels like it just popped out of a painting. No, it actually popped out of a novel."

The art is so plain it doesn't capture any of these words as it should. Baek Tae Beom (ML) is also described to be quite taller and muscular than the mc but the manhwa's anatomy perspective is so messed up that in a lot of scenes it seems like both are of the same height and physique.

Another thing is that Baek Tae Beom's expression are drawn as very aggressive in certain situations, whereas in the novel in those situations he's described as "whining like a puppy" kind, this will give the manhwa readers a very wrong outlook on ML which is so sad. Novel him is like a literal puppy in front of mc and manhwa him is like a teenager with extreme mood swings and anger issues at least from the art. (。•︿•。)

The manhwa is still quite true to the novel chapter wise but the novel explains a few things here and there that helps us to understand the story better whereas the manhwa doesn't, which makes it really difficult to immerse yourself in the manhwa and the artstyle already doesn't help.

2 chapters of the novel (could be more but as far as from what I've read until now) weren't included in the manhwa, although not that important, those 2 chapters gave readers quite the insight.

I'm not a novel reader or well i wasn't a novel reader until I decided to read this manhwa's novel and honestly I loved it enough to now consider being a novel reader lol.

The chapters in the novel are short and easy to follow, the pace is a lil fast so can't do much about that, and there might be times where you'd be like "uh this thing isn't explained in detail?" and you just gotta accept as it's given but regardless its atleast better than the manhwa.

I'd personally encourage ppl to read the novel until and hopefully the manhwa adaptation gets serialised by a better artist.
