I know it IS starting out as Diego being a replacement for Matthew but I want to believe he isn’t (I’m being a little delusional) cause like can we just see that he called Diego in his sleep?? Why wasn’t it Matthew? He obviously knows that Diego is a separate being the only thing they have in common is looks and I think Daniel is fucking up his mind and most likening going it manipulate him to keep his distance from Diego
