I can already see the angst coming for season two. The way FL will have to confront her deep rooted feeling for Dean when she sees him again and on top of that she’ll be confronted with the life she could have had if she went with him. Like Dean said he had a future planned :(
As for the count, I do think Sarah will love him in some respect but not in the same way as Dean. To me they will make a good partnership, have a mutual respect for each, and will have a care for each other kinda of relationship. Without Dean in the picture, they would have probably had a good love life/story, but when compared to the pure and almost soulmate vibes of Dean and Sarah, their relationship will always fall a little flat to me. Like if the story was just Sarah and the count I would be eating up their relationship, but the presence of Dean is rough competition.
Lastly it was mentioned that “times are changing” which obviously is in reference to the rise of self made individuals like Dean. But I also see it leading to less societal “obligations” that Sarah will have to face potentially making it easier to choose Dean.
Overall, Sarah will be given a second chance to make a choice about the direction of her future and while she choose family obligations last time, I hope she is able to follow her heart this time (especially bc a lot of the barriers that exist before won’t exist or they will be weaker).
