I did skip a bunch of chapters but like..... the dad was known for going bat shit crazy and hitting Cirrus often... he even looked mentally ill with the way he wanted his son and girlfriend to act like a happy family. And of course he never cared about Cirrus ever since the mom died.

So like.... what exactly happened between then and now for him to act like this now ?

And while im at it, why did Cirrus aunt just leave like that and never came back ? Did i miss her explanation or did she dip again after that 1 chapter she showed out of nowhere ?

She disappeared as if she was on the witness program to protect people ... For me the aunt leaving was such a heartbreaking moment and it's so stupid that she never explained why she never visited. And she didnt even call the dad or the house phone to contact Cirrus and instead waited for a lil kid to call her???? Nah like she is wrong for this.
