I think it's leaning more towards the ex-girlfriend if she ever grows a pair and confesses! Also he literally said that he's gonna have to put the fear of God inside any of her future boyfriends. That's father daughter relationship right there!!!

Reading all these "wholesome family" manga has hurt me enough to just be scared whenever they say ANYTHING about their kid that can be seen as.... possible weird/wrong indications of "romance". Reading how she was so mature scared me
I would prefer that option, would be cool but I hope she isn't pushed into trad wife status since it's cool if both parents are bad ass fighters.
I think she's more of the cool aunt type/energy to be honest. Although not motherly per say, she would make good on protecting the kids and doing right by them (as she has already demonstrates when she agreed to protect and look after then if anything happened to their father; she made that promise after all)
ngl, in the other upload, I saw how everyone was afraid of the MC ending up with the oldest kid and I understand. But the fact that we have been traumatized by many manga that ship children with adults(that they usually raise) is awful . Expecting it is horrible but I hope this don't go down a weird route. I would prefer if maybe they point out how she is so mature even tho she is a kid and should act like a kid and they have a day for the older kids to chill and have fun instead of just.... saying she is like a mom or so mature. This type of writing kinda has been used before so I am wary of any "wholesome family" manga ATP
