Here's my two cents. She IS strong (handling duchy tasks, diplomatic task about Khan Island, proving she is Innocent after that marquees's son tried to rape her, solving mistress abortion case) by herself, asking no help, and always looking strong despite hard hurdle that normal woman can't do at that time.
.Also she is not acting weak in front of ML, she just show vulnerable sides to the Emperor bcs she said (multiple times) that she trust him and opened up to him(like every human being). It's very natural for human being to show vulnerable sides to ppl close to you (romantic or platonic).
Also ppl keep saying she need help in everything. I mean... When..?? I during rape attempt? She was rofied, but despite that she fight back(literally punch marquess's son in the face) and prove she is innocent at the trial Yes the Knight helps, but she's the one who brought out sacred trial on her own. During abortion case?? She literally solve it herself. During diplomatic mission? I mean she destroyed every male noble in there. Coming home on time?? I mean ppl would destroy ML as the Emperor if he made FL work overtime. Helping FL when she fell? I mean ML just nice and if he let FL fall then ML is shit then.
Done reading ch 91, I my guess is the Emperor not wanting to get married bcs he want to hand the throne to his lil bro. And he'll probably pursuing Laila after he handed the throne safely. And the Princess of the fallen kingdom probably still alive and gonna cause problem more(?)
