I don't think she's looking for the cure, per say. I think she's looking to get memories back for the "original body" at least. If she was the fairy that cursed him in the first place, she should be able to undo the curse.
didn't she said in the first few chapters that the cure was not in the sanctuary of knowledge? so why is she acting now that its there? or might be there
