You’d be surprised on how many of us grew up with parents that have gambling addictions. It’s not shocking that so many of the stories have a backstory related to that but I do agree that they could change it up a bit more.
Gambling is a big thing in Korea. It literally tripled in use between 2019-2023.

Why is there always a gambling addiction? Do authors just run out of ideas and say, "oh we have to give them a struggle let's just pick gambling addiction"??? I see it so often its boring and unrelatable
