I had the same problem but the problem is the transition between the years weren't clear. Like I first it said he was 10 and the other guy is 17. Then (in the official) it changed to 12 at one point. Anyways, yeah, I was waiting to see what was happening. But they jumped to 6 years later and he was 17, so six years PRIOR he would have been 11. Anyways, I think the story had a gap of 6 years before the main story started, so it was confusing because they did it in a way I felt he was 17 forever. But then the next time they showed him he was 18, so I'm like, welp, at least he's legal (in the US at least) and then it said smthng about three years ago he won the Olympics or something so I did the math and put him at 21. But until I saw the announcement that he is 21 at some point in this comic by the time he met JiHeon again that my mind was in peace. But before that I was just hovering like, who what where?
Update: I was informed he is grown so let's continue(▰˘◡˘▰)
I thought I found something good and interesting to read. I usually don't read the sport's ones because I get bored but this seems interesting until....... I seen the ages. A 17 yr old and a grown adult just don't sit right in my spirit. Damn I like the art too. But I can't get over stories that have teenagers with adults it gives pedo vibes to me. Like what could a grown ass adult have in common with a teenager. Yes I know it's fiction. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍different strokes for different folks.
