I haven't read this yet, but you said you genuinely wanted to know why people like rape in media so.... for me, it is the taboo, the adrenaline reading it, as well as just corruption of purity. There is a lot more to it, but i have always enjoyed forced scenes.

With that said, i am all about consent in real life and feel sick reading stories of real surviors. I have helped friends through their experiences, and had my own.

I am just also able to seperate fantasy from reality. I can't do it in movies through. Just comics, stories, cartoons. But some people can do movies.

Not every story is for everyone, and that is okay. These aren't for you. But there are a lot of people who enjoy it and it isn't evil to do so, just different.

I think there's very valid points for being against this type of media. Not everyone who consumes it does it knowing or wanting to separate fiction from reality and it can lead to them doing something bad. In an ideal society a kink would never cross this line. As for why these extreme kinks even exists... They are often a manifestation of an unaddressed need. I enjoy this particular subject from the side of the person getting controlled, because in my every day life I am always in control. I am the person who has to plan for everything, people come to me for help, I take on a million projects, I never know how to relax and it's hard for me to ask for what I want. The ///idea/// of someone coming and taking what they want is then very pleasing for me. The same can probably be said from the other side... Someone who is used to letting others take from them might want to be in control for once. There's nothing diabolical about it if everyone acknowledges it's just "role-play", if anything it's more therapeutic than anything. The extremely crazy mangas like this one tend to be even better (for me) just because of the clear lack of reality.
