You know how pearls are created from for example a grain of sand that irritates the oyster? If you remove Jooha's trauma (by losing his memory), turns out he no longer produces pearls. I don't know what's gonna happen in the future - maybe he'll produce them again so that they can live a rich life, but for now, because he's healing, they're gone.
