First bc they don't expected the plan working so well at point the grandpa actually liked him and second the romance with Yoounsung go out at control.

They shouldn't feel grateful because it's not like he's doing it out of the kindness of his heart. Hakyung is only doing it for his own personal gain, not to actually help an old man on his deathbed.
