Right? He sticks to his virtue a calculating man (Which Chloe knows from the start) and just stayed as obsessively inlove calculating Man. Nothing much change,
I like damien too but i just cant love chloe
Damian is probably my favorite "red flag ML". As much as you want to hate him, you can't deny that he's well written and the plot is great compared to many other copy paste toxic MLs with no depth. And honestly i hate the "servant likes their master" trope especially the ones where the master has clearly no interest in the servant. I feel like Gilles took advantage of Chole's kindness to fuel his delusions of getting with her. :/ Yeah he is a "good guy" but he icks me in the wrong way.
Then again yes Damian is toxic as hell, I'm not saying hes good but I love how the author thought well about this character
