Now, in the first timeline, Oscar met the MC when she was locked up by her mother and the emperor. They are exploiting her because she is the Primera in her generation. Oscar, feeling pity on what the MC has gone through, took care of her and basically raise her. He treat her as a family (more so like a daughter), which leads the emperor on using Oscar as well (that's why in the first timeline, Oscar is in the Emperor's side but didn't do anything when emperor was killed). It was also Oscar that reverse the time so that in this time, the MC would live the life that she deserves.

Welp, all I can say is Mom is a trash and Oscar is her true 'mom'. When Oscar told her he loves her, he meant it tho. Ofc not romantically, it's a familial love akin to Mom towards her child.
