There must be a reason that they cut lots of thing. And usually artist will consult with the original author on how to adapt so for sure ir has samk approval

Also, I've read a lot of comments of Korean readers saying they somehow felt the ending is abrupt and too many things from the novel were cut/left out and intensity of things was lessened, but that the novel was really long and outdated (hence, intensity of things was lessened, like rape).
