I’m from south Europe and as we collectively see the situation we don’t really have that much of a problem.
A Real relationship between a minor(17yo) and one adult (21yo)… is totally normal from where I am from,
But some other wester countries are not ok with it
KEEP IN MIND that I am not saying that we are all good and don’t care if the minor is a kid, in that case it’s pedophilia but what I mean with this post is:
once it get close to 18 (it can be ok, from what I’ve been seeing from 16???17/18) and IF the minor in question is perfectly fine with it AND IF The adult in question is not over 30yo.The country from where I am from doesn’t really find it a problem.
To conclude, form what I’ve been seeing in my country :
It’s bad even in fictional if one part is a child and or looks like a child (example: the character may be 52739493 years old but really resemble a 9yo kid) BAD, ITS PEDO!!!
But is ok if the character can be an high schooler 16/17/18and the other part is a 20 something yo from university or a friend NO MORE THAN 30/35yo (if more then that’s gross)

When I was scrolling through Tiktok, there's a Video of a GoYuu anime Ship from Jujutsu Kaisen and when I tried reading the comments, they're a lot of People hating it like they're cursing at it and even went as far as harassing others who liked the Ship, straight up calling them Pedophiles, when asked why, they said Yuuji is a Minor and Gojo is an adult and when some say it's just Fictions, they still won't back off and went on mocking them, I was surprised that they'd be so sensitive even in Fiction since then, I've been wondering about that, so tell me does Western People Hate Age Gap relationships to the point they don't even like it in Fictions? (Mind you, my country is like, if it's Fictional Drawings, don't care about it and I also have a Neighbour couple who have 15 years Age gap)
