Not that poster but does it not happen really? I saw a comment in the raws site that something happens with a dog in the side stories so I decided to cross reference with a Korean review with a bajillion spoilers which mentioned a dog.
I genuinely cannot tell if it's a translation issue or not because when I translate the page itself it says
"Kwon Ji-wook, whose body has already become gay, relies on the dog that Park Joo-yeon gave him to be his friend. Park Joo-yeon becomes addicted to that and watches Kwon Ji-wook's condition through the camera she installed."
but when I place the excerpt itself on translator apps it says:
"Kwon Ji-wook, whose body has already become gay, becomes addicted to the act to the point of relying on the dog that Park Joo-yeon gave him to befriend, and Park Joo-yeon uses the installed camera to monitor Kwon Ji-wook's condition."
then when I place the whole thing until the sentence ends with a period it says
"Kwon Ji-wook, who has already become gay, becomes addicted to it to the extent that he relies on the dog Park Joo-yeon gave him to be a friend, and Park Joo-yeon notices Kwon Ji-wook's condition with the camera he installed, thinking that he feels in SM-like play and coercive situations, and treats him to obey rather than give him affection."

Like does he just get a pet at some point or is that whole excerpt about the pet play thing you mentioned It's not that I don't believe you but the MTL of these comments is legit freaking me out a bit.
I don't think beastiality is allowed on bomtoom so even if there is such thing it probably won't be adapted into webtoon as it it was already stated at the the start that the webtoon will have changes than the novel

I don't really think that's accurate. I have a Korean friend who read the novel and there's just hardcore petplay. Nothing involving actual animals. I believe the spoiler you read is referring to Jiwook becoming Jooyeon's dog and relying on him because Jooyeon cuts him off from his only friend and forces him to live in a high-control environment at his house.
