it's hard to see any path for meaningful character growth with someone as self-centered and toxic as Jaekyung. The way he's written makes it seem like he’s stuck in this perpetual cycle of selfishness, he not upset because he recognizes his bad behavior...he's only upset because he lost the upper hand and Dan had the guts to leave....reading such a letdown of a character is so frustrating as a reader. And hey we can have morally gray characters a perfect example is seungho from painter of the night....but its not just about making a character flawed or red flag... its giving them dimensions and a way to evolve.....and so far, this manhwa doesn’t seem to be heading in that direction. There's no way to redeem him in a way that feels authentic, it's a lost cause at this point (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
What if he got brain damaged and turns into a complete different person? A decent person got isekaied into his body? I don't think Dan can escape being together with him in the end anyway so we can dream big.
