the angst

That is some delicious delicious angst.
so dongyim was the one to pull him back in (and the first to initiate their relationship later on) and jungyeom is obsessed with him, but we never know how real dongyim is with his feelings (he claims to have loved him so much but his expressions always show a bit of malice) and how much of it is tainted with guilt and resentment in the present timeline. meanwhile lookign at jungyeom both in past and present, he is so scary - esp that smile at the funeral! i also sorta feel bad for him bc he was abused to the point of suicide and then he finds the one thing to live for and its taboo. then again, he is too far gone to see what he is doing is essentially caging dongyim and hurting him even more.
(will dongyim run away tho? he had his chance and didnt take it. like why announce you gonna run? it sounded more like an ultimatum or test of jungyeom)
toxic x toxic really does describe this best.
also i LOVE the storyboards on this ch in particular! the way those scenes are paralleled against each other! big muah to the artist.

I think the mc made the ml admit all that so his bride could listen to it. In the last panel there was a hint of clothing in the hallway. All of this seems mc's way of keeping his brother attached and obsessed over him. The way of refering the bride as his woman and sharing his plans of escaping seems like manipulating the ml to be with him forever.

Yep the bride was listening in but I think he himself was surprised to see her? He looked shocked imo.
But I agree on the manipulation. Dongyim is quite sly.
