For some reason I’m not annoyed by it, just mostly worried due to his naiveness. Hopefully he doesn’t stay fully like his mother’s behavior. (Due to his mother’s situation and upbringing, it makes sense for him to be somewhat childish. But Byul didn’t grow up in same situation, so it doesn’t make sense for him to be this…carefree).

I think he's just a typical pampered rich kid. He was the only child of hyesung and dojin for 16/17 years, I imagine he'd get whatever he wants and dojin's family literally love him. But maybe it's just fargo's writing choice to show that he is indeed hyesung's son from their similar personality. Kids do pick up part of their personality from their guardians lmao.

Kids are supposed to be carefree, that’s a normal behavior when you grow up in a household filled with love, also he used to be in his own world - famous parents / idol trainie / reliable childhood friends - and doesn’t look like the type to go astray because he simply isn’t interested at all. It’s kinda no wonder why he would be naive about things he not only didn’t experience but also didn’t cared about at all.
I mean yeah carefree is fine, but not to the point they’re thinking about taking some strange candy. And you did a well written explanation on why he could be the way he is.
Well I understand your point especially nowadays, but as I was a pretty « naive » child myself, when you’re thrown into a setting you are discovering and you never really was betrayed by anyone ( cuz let be honest who would harm the « lovely »son of a famous idol) you genuinely don’t expect the worst from people even if they’ve been mean (that sound like moron behavior but it happens) that just how innocent his character his… and I don’t think we should put that on him too I mean he his just a child who as yet to uncover the dark side of the world.
