it's a bit different, in svsss sqq was directly replaced. in this one he (or everyone) was reincarnated. basically death, but their soul are still the same. and they know that, so they can try to move on at least. meanwhile, with sqq, his senior brother (and also most people) didn't know that he had been replaced by entirely different person at all. i'd say sqq's situation is more tragic

oh i see sorry about that. i can see the connection now but it didn't connect before bc scum villain's world is after all a book. so for me it is really different. when SJ transmigrated in the middle of the plot, I dont think the original book universe already existed, i see it more as "what could happen" if sqq isn't replaced. however now i understand people see it differently because author did wrote that extra about the original plot line being an alternate universe instead (so they did exist). but even so it's still very different because SJ only connected to Bing Mei and he shouldn't have dealing with the Bing Ge except that one extra, it was really not his responsibility. sure Bing Ge is pitiful but it's the OG SQQ responsibility and it's a different person and a different story altogether. and anyway Bing Ge already did his revenge so what's else to do.

sorry if my words are confusing. basically if the world in this webtoon is linear, the world in Scum villain is parallel. with linear world, you're still the same soul/person but different memory and personality. but with parallel world they're basically different person.

Yeah...that's the point? We feel bad for both og luo binghe and the og emperor in this story(forgot his name lol) because despite show much they suffered (the emperor especially) they don't get to have a happy ending and be with the one they love. That's the tragedy. Despite being the same person, they're both basically different people.

idk about the previous ml in svsss, luo binghe og is straight as stick and if he were the one to have encountered the reicarnated Qingqiu he would've done what he did to of Qingqiu, (amputated him then placed his upper body in a jar, it's horrible, though og qinqiu lowkey deserved it). Though in side stories, I was hyped up when there's a crossover, I still don't trust og binghe over current binghe.

It's more like he did what he thought he had to, in a way? But all his relationships were meaningless because he could not feel their love in a way that mattered. And he too was too broken to love anyone in return.

Og qingqiu deserved it, and that's why he did it. Shen yuan, if he could prove that he's another person on time, wouldn't have met the same end.


I'm not saying to trust og binghe but I really do think with the help of another? Shen yuan, he could definitely go in the right direction. Though it's equally beautiful and tragic to think of him knowing what it feels like to finally be happy and have it taken from him never to find it again.

Okay that is logical ╥﹏╥, when the side chapters were released I did thought it was so sad that it was too short. I mean, og Binghe did kissed ShenYuan Qinqiu so ig he could be flexible. Though I don't remember it right but the side story was their second meeting wasn't it? The first one he did tried to harm Qinqiu (shenyuan) (or did he actually succeed) because he thought it was og qinqiu?. I'd die for a shen yuan for og binghe though. Svsss was my fav among all author's work solely because of binghe.
