You should 100% read Love Is An Illusion first. Everything will make a lot more sense and it gives a huge amount of depth to all the characters. Won't kill you to read both at the same time though because it's still very new and still updating.
i think it’s better to read the first one before so you can understand the story and know all the characters of the story such as the uncles, grandma etc. ! <3
