I'm usually upset by slow pacing, especially if it's in the romance department, but I'm genuinely quite enjoying the pace of this. Sometimes it gets a little over explain-y but for the most part, the action is solid when it happens, I'm absolutely invested in each named character in this and I love the semi-videogame feeling it gives off, while making it feel more realistic.
The creators did write an excellent job making this feel like a game that came to life. The mobs are more realistic despite them being as unrealistic as it gets, and the story draws me in more than games generally do, despite how formulaic and obvious games of this genre are.
They took a quite repetitive game genre (rng) and made it feel like the least grindy rpg I've ever witnessed being/played.
I'm so looking forward to the romance
This is so slow paced. We're already at chapter 36 but we still don't know any significant info about Meltier. The slow paced story and update makes this unpopular even tho the plot is interesting.
